The Health, Education and Social Services Committee considered                 
SENATE BILL NO. 249 "An Act relating to assisted living homes;                 
repealing references to residential facilities for dependent adults; and       
providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced                
with                                                                           
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 249(HES), entitled:                                    
"An Act relating to assisted living homes; relating                           
to the conversion of an assisted living home to a                              
nursing home; repealing references to residential                              
facilities for dependent adults; abolishing the                                
authority of certain municipalities to license or                              
supervise institutions caring for dependent adults;                            
and providing for an effective date."
